Headquartered in the suburb of Boston, APS4Business is founded in 2010 by Dr. Kazi Saif Islam who has 26 years of experience in Supply Chain Management consulting. Dr. Islam has designed business processes and solutions, and led the implementation of IT projects at Fortune 500 clients for major Supply Chain vendors including Blue Yonder (BY), JDA Software (Manugistics), i2 Technologies and MCA Solutions. Dr. Islam has an impressive engineering background and he holds a Ph. D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto.

During his 26 years of consulting career, Dr. Islam has gained insights of supply chain business processes in many industry verticals including Retail, Food and Beverage, Consumer Package Goods, Aero Space and Defense, Telecommunication, Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices, High Tech, Semiconductor and Consumer Electronics.
Dr. Islam specializes in sales and operations planning, demand planning, supply planning (master planning and scheduling), distribution and deployment planning, inventory and procurement planning, and strategic design of supply chain network. He has hands-on experience implementing solutions for these SCM processes using enterprise level application software that include BY Enterprise Supply Planning, BY Demand, BY Fulfillment, BY Inventory Optimization, BY Collaborate, BY Monitor, and MCA Solutions’ Service Planning & Optimization.
